If there is someone on the list that runs R as a standalone environment and
not as an integration into spss or another program, would you email me
off-list. I'd like ask 3-4 questions about variable types, capacity, and
data management. Let me say that I've skimmed through the cran-r intro and
data pdfs as well as some other materials.
