This is where the Downloads for SPSS Statistics
page says the R Essentials link is, and it is actually at that link for
versions19, 20, and 21. I just checked it again. (The link
you cited is indeed for Python and .NET.)

NOTE: The developerWorks staff has become aware of a problem with some URLs on the dW site when using Internet Explorer 8. Apparently IE mangles these URLS and takes you to the wrong page. They are creating a workaround for this problem, but I don't know when it will be in place. If you have trouble with the url above, try a different browser. Hi, you can find it via this link: http://tinyurl.com/bu6vpnh. However, I got an Internal Server Error when I followed the link for the R plugin for SPSS v20.
