R

Sam Koslowsky
I have installed the PLUGIN. I get a 'successful' installation. I try to download and intstall some of the bundles and I get

Cannot install selected extension bundle. You must install the
Integration Plug-In for R before installing this extension bundle.

And the extension has been downloaded with R3.1.0.

What is being done incorrectly, here?

Sam

Re: R

If the plugin (Essentials) is actually installed, you should be able to run this program from a syntax window.

begin program r.
print(sessionInfo())
end program.

Also, after the Essentials install, you should have a bunch of R-based extensions available on the menus, and they should be runable.  For example, look for
Analyze > Regression > Quantile Regression

You didn't say which version of Statistics you are using.  If it is V23, then it uses R3.1; earlier versions use different R versions.

Also, be sure that the Essentials version installed matches the bit-ness of your Statistics version.  Both must be 32-bit or 64-bit.
