Hi, The DELETE key does not seem to work on v20 (Windows 7 64 bit). Is there a fix for this? Best, Jignesh

Mike,
No, sorry.
SPSS is installing and running its own Java, so what you have isn't going to
affect that.

Dave,
Is there a fix
available for Version 16 or 17? I’m running V16 with all
patches and hotfixes, and my Java environment is up to date, but I’m still
seeing this problem.
Thanks
Mike

Dear Adriaan,
This seems to have been handled by an update to a Java
Development Kit. In Release 18, shift-backspace works as it did prior to Release
16 (this issue affects Releases 16 and 17).
Best regards,

In typing SPSS commands in a syntax
file, I developed a habit of typing keywords in CAPS. In case of a typo, I'd
like to correct it using backspace key, without releasing the Shift key.
However, this does not work: the cursor will not move unless I release the
Shift-key. I find this very annoying. I'm using PASW 17.0.2. Is this a
known bug ? Was it already fixed in some
patch?
