Re: Dot graph with standard errors to represent regression coefficients

Kersting, Nicole
Dear list members,

I would like to graph the results of a regression analysis.  Specifically, I would like to graph the point estimate of each regression coefficient with its 95% confidence interval.  Thus the rows in this chart would be the different regression coefficients and on the X axis would be the scale variable. The scale would include a negative and positive area with the zero point.  On this graph all regression coefficient estimates whose confidence intervals include zero would be those not significant whereas the coefficients whose conficdence intervals don't include zero would be those significant.

The example chart I found indicates that this file is generated using the dotplot with error bar graphing command.  What I am not able to figure out though is what variable is used for each regression coefficient to yield the point estimate and the standard error?  Does anyone know how to create these charts?

Thanks a lot,
Nicki
