Sure,
Send an e-mail message to the LISTSERV at [hidden email] (no
subject line) that states:
SET SPSSx-L NOMAIL
This will retain you as a member of the list, but will stop all e-mail.
(To reverse this, send another message that states: SET SPSSx-L MAIL)

Then, to follow the discussions, you will need to review the archives
at:
http://listserv.uga.edu/archives/spssx-l.html

Subject: [SPSSX-L] Is it possible to be a member of the list without
receiving messages in the mail box?

Dear colleagues!

I am new in the list and I already feel happy to be a member of it! The
only problem is, that my mailbox fills up with a lot of messages for a
very short time. I would prefer to follow the discussions in the site
without receiving messages in my mailbox. Is it possible?

Thank you in advance!

With kind regards!

Boika
