Just wanted to let you know about a few resources we have on logistic regression.
1. I have a new article on the differences among four procedures in SPSS for logistic regression. They all do things a little differently and it's helpful to know when to use which.
2. I'm quite happy to report that in our upcoming Logistic Regression for Binary, Ordinal, and Multinomial Outcomes workshop, we're now adding Stata examples.
The focus of this workshop is the concepts, steps, and interpretations, not the software. So while it's not necessary, I realize you may find it easier to learn with examples in familiar software. One of my goals from the beginning has been to include examples in different software packages for all of our workshops.
We've been slowly adding examples in various workshops and I recently convinced long-time Stata user Jeff Meyer of Optimizing Outcomes to create Stata versions of all my examples and exercises for Logistic Regression.
He's also working on examples for a few others, so you'll be seeing more Stata from us.
SAS and SPSS are still in there as well, so don't fear, SAS and SPSS users.
(And yes we'll get R in there eventually as well. Just not this time through).
So in the meantime, enjoy the article. If you have any questions about the workshop, just hit reply!
Happy Analyzing,
Karen
