Hello-
I am analyzing data from a survey that included items in 4 domains. I ran
PCA to see if the items within the domains held together and came up with
5 factors that explained 74% of the variance. Two of the survey domains
held together nicely, but the other 2 domains were split up between the
other 3 factors. I am wondering what my next steps should be. Is it best
to report out only the two domains that held together as scales and report
the rest as individual items? One of the other extracted factors seemed to
be a logical grouping, however, it was not one of the original domains
included in the survey.
Thanks for any advice/references you can offer!!
