Your data (sav) file are OK, it is the viewer (spo) files that V16+ can't
read. You will need to install Legacy Viewer found on the V16 install CD or at SPSS Web to read them once V16 is installed and you uninstall V15. Hi Mark,
I've discovered the message below in my folder of emails from the SPSS Help group. It confirms what you have said, and also looks as though you would need to install v16 & uninstall v15 to resolve the problem. Or could you, instead, revert to using v14 - I wonder if we have the setup disks for that? This is my first morning in work for a week & Leicester doesn't appear to be around. When I see him I'll discuss this issue again - clearly we need to resolve it asap. If you want to be able to use the SPSS email Help group yourself, you need to register (I think you do this by sending an email containing the word 'Register' to [hidden email], but you could check this on the SPSS web site). Be aware that you do get an awful lot of emails! (I have a rule set up so that they go straight into a different folder). The queries are often answered by SPSS support staff. keep smiling, Jean :) >>> Statmanz <[hidden email]> 28/10/08 20:10 >>> Your data (sav) file are OK, it is the viewer (spo) files that V16+ can't read.
