Let me echo Robert's crosstab formatting issue. While I suspect SPSS
had a reason for formatting these tables the way they did, it is not an
acceptable format for sharing results in my opinion. I always extract
the key cells and paste them into a blank Word table to eliminate the
problem he describes. I have not found the proposed "narrowing the left
column" strategy to be workable.
While cutting and pasting is acceptable for small jobs, it poses a
problem when you have a large number of tables. I would welcome a way
to eliminate this step.
