  I have installed the software for the third time but it doesn't work.

 Try installing Vista hotfix from
http://support.spss.com/ProductsExt/SPSS/Patches/SPSSforWindows/15VistaH
otfixReadme.html it did the trick for me.

Hi Aaron,


Installing the hotfix for SPSS 15 will help but don't expect it to run
smoothly, it won't, 15.0 wasn't made to run under VISTA.
Have you installed everything as administrator?? This is very important in
vista.

Another (best?) option is installing SPSS 16.0, or reinstalling winXP with
15.0
