There are a few broken tableLooks in V25.0.0.0.  These were fixed in FixPack2, so install that and you should be good to go.

Hi folks,

I just installed v25.0 as our university no longer offers license for v24. I am having problem with changing the looks of my output tables. Even though .stt the files are in the folder and show up in the dropdown menus, I get this error for various looks

File C:\PROGRA~1\IBM\SPSS\STATIS~1\25\Looks\Compact.stt specified for SET TLook is not a valid SPSS Statistics file.

I get the same error when I choose CompactBox which is my goto format for consistency with previous lectures and handouts.

Any suggestions?

Re: TLOOKS in V25.0

Beckstead, Jason

Hi Jon,

Thanks for the advice. I just installed fixpack #2 for 64bit Windows system. I still get the following:

File C:\PROGRA~1\IBM\SPSS\STATIS~1\25\Looks\LargeFont.stt specified for SET TLook is not a valid SPSS Statistics file.

This one is crucial because I use it for projecting onto screens for classes to maximize what the students can see.

File C:\PROGRA~1\IBM\SPSS\STATIS~1\25\Looks\CompactAcademic.stt specified for SET TLook is not a valid SPSS Statistics file.

This one is less crucial but annoying. There are a few others that don’t work.

Any helpful suggestions?

Thanks,

Jason
