When I opened my saved the SPSS file and found that the value label
disappeared and only label showed up. For example, what come out now for variable "Gender" is Male/ Female not 1 /2(We define Male=1 and Female=2). Any suggestion would be highly appreciated. Hello Hans Chen,
In the view menu, just click "value label". Once you click it, the check mark opposite the value label will disapper and the value label (1 or 2) will show up; once it is click again, an check mark will appear and only label (male/female) will show up. Hope this helps! Johnny --- Hans Chen <[hidden email]> wrote: > When I opened my saved the SPSS file and found that > the value label > disappeared and only label showed up.
