Great question, but I haven't seen an answer yet. So it might be time to
repost. Version 16 basesytem in my opinion is a disgrace and doesn't do more
then Microsoft Excell. SPPS makes SPSS users look stupid, especially in SAS
surrounding. I can't even do a simple logistic regression without buying the
regression module (Ca$999), and I already bought the survival module ($999).
Merging files is causing me headaches in this version, so I don't agree that
SPSS is user friendly.
I know you can't help me with shabby work from SPSS. So to give something
back to the community: if you want to calculate Explained variance in Cox
regression according to Kent and O'Quigley please let me know, I have syntax
for that.
