hi, i'm suziana rosaini, undergraduate student at universiti sains malaysia. i had a research about utilization of non pharmacological practices among surgical patient. i had use 5-point likert scale on 26 items questionnaire, which is:

1=not at all

2=rarely

3=sometimes

4=most of the times

5= always,,

 

then, my scoring is:

1+2=seldom

3=sometimes

4+5=always,

so, my question are;

 

1)  how to compute this by spss??

2) how to get total score (in range for seldom, sometimes and always)
