Rebranding and creating "new and improved" products always seem to be the
result of some management types with too much time on their hands, thinking this
will justify their role in the firm. A current example of this is the
repackaging of Tropicana orange juice. Tropicana was probably one of the best
recognized brands in stores until some moron made it look like a generic
juice carton. After the public resistance, the company is going through an
expensive process of getting back to where it once was. If you wish to call your
company Predictive Analytics, that's OK, but leave the products alone. For one
thing, put your time and efforts into better and improved graphics.
