Recent spam/phishing messages warning about e-mail deactiviation

Recently, several members of this forum have received messages like the one Bill describes below.  As Gary notes, this is spam (or worse--some kind of phishing).  I have documented it in this new separate thread, because I will shortly delete from the Nabble archive the original spam/phishing messages that contain (potentially) dangerous links someone might click.

If you look at the source, you will see that it is spam. Among other things, the reply to domain has a ".ru" suffix

I have been very diligent about nuking any SPAM prior to it hitting the list.
Really unclear about how it got past me and ended up getting to the Archive without moderation.
I've been getting mail all day with this same message.  Probably deleted it  times.

I've filtered over 81 messages since April 30th and only a few have been legitimate List appropriate missives.

Yes, moderation is essential unfortunately.  I still haven't seen the New Topic button added.
