Regression

Kaviarasu Rajaram(CHN/ANALYTICS)
Dear Friends,

I would like to know about regression

What is regression does?

Why we are doing?

How do we predict?

How it will help in Market research

It would be really great if you can give brief with an example

Thanks in advance

Try this for a starter: http://www.statsoft.com/textbook/stathome.html
And then find a textbook. "Regression" is a huge topic, and you're not
likely to learn what you need on just the SPSS email list.

Re: Regression

Keith McCormick
Hi All,

I agree with Daniel's advice. I have always been a fan of Paul
Allison's Regression: A Primer. It is short (relatively), cheap, and
clear. Start with that, and a textbook will be an easier read.
