Relative Strengths and Weaknesses of the Six Factor Extraction Methods

Dear All,

Are there references or latest comparative investigations on the Six Factor Extraction Methods (such as Unweighted Least Squares, Generalized least squares, Maximum Likelihood, principal axis factoring, alpha factoring and image factoring). I am very much interested to know the relative strengths and weaknesses for the methods.  Without such information, I will always  have the difficulty of deciding which one to use.
