Restructuring Households to Units

Colin Valdiserri
Hello again to everyone,

I would like to thank everyone for their help with my previous question
regarding weighting ratio data; I received great insights and am very
appreciative.

I now have another question about restructuring data. I have a data set of
598 respondents (home builders). In this data one of the questions ask how
many homes they build in a year. I need to restructure the data so that it
is based on of homes build in a year and not individual respondents. For
example, if one respondent build 800 homes in a year, I need that respondent
to be in the data 800 times.

I have heard this can be done, but have no idea where to begin and if you
have the syntax or any help it would be a hugely appreciated.

Many regards,

Colin

Why not use the WEIGHT command?
