Ronn J Hy, Using the Computer in the Social Sciences (Elsevier , 1977)

John F Hall

Those of you struggling to interest (social science) students in QM, and old enough to remember 80-column cards, may find this interesting, nostalgic  (and amusing?).

If, like me, you can't access content on the JSTOR site, or can't find a copy in a library, here is my original typescript.

I can't find any copies for sale anywhere of Using the Computer in the Social Sciences .  They used to be available from Amazon (expensive) but occasional copies turn up on eBay (cheap).

Why? Can't read preview, review not available.
Only time I dealt with punchcards was when I helped a former professor move her data from cards to her uni computer account. This was mid 80s. Really have no nostalgic, masochist yearning for the Stone age of computing.
