I'm using SPSS 15.0.1 in XP Pro, occasionally I need to rename and make a copy of a syntax file. Every so often when I have the syntax file open, click save as, rename the file, and then when I try to save the new name SPSS it says the file does not exist. But then if I close the syntax file, re-open it, then redo the steps to save as the file to a different name it works. It's an annoyance more than anything when it does happen as I have to retrace my steps and do it twice. Has anyone ran into this issue before? Or is there a fix for this? I should have the most recent patch on v15.
