SPSS 15.0 slower than older versions

DiDomenico, Angela
Hello Everyone,

A few weeks ago I remember some e-mails regarding complaints that ver
15.0 was slower than older versions.  I recently upgraded to ver 15.0
(on a local computer - not a network) and definitely notice that it runs
slower than my previous ver 11.01.  Was there any conclusion to the
previous discussion?  Is there anything that can be done to increase
processing speed?

Thanks,
Angela

Both 14 and 15 seem to be slower than previous versions.  I can't help but
wonder if the ability to open multiple instances of SPSS (multiple
datasets) is involved here.
