SPSS-16 for Mac question/problem...

Hi, I'm running SPSS 16.0.2 grad pack on OS X 10.5.3.

I've been trying to attach a .sav file to an email - Apple mail and
web-based e-mail using Safari and Firefox all crash.

10.5.3 is new but I haven't needed to email a .sav file for a couple months,
so this might be completely unrelated to the OS update.

I'm wondering if anyone else has seen this problem & managed to get past it?

Hi Linda,
your bug is confirmed at our University:

"Mail crashes when an SPSS 16 data file is attached via the Attach
toolbar button, but not when the SPSS data file icon is dragged
directly into an open mail message or onto the Mail icon in the Dock.

Thank you!!  --for the confirmation that you've seen the error, and for the
workaround.  I'm fairly new to Macs and had forgotten about the drag & drop
option.  Works here too -
