I still have some problems with SPSS 16 (I have installed all the updates).
Problem 1:
When I have used the 'cd' commando to change the working directory location
and then want to save the output with syntax (without specifying the whole
directory), SPSS doesn't save the output, although I don't see an error. I
have to type the whole working directory, otherwise it doesn't work. It's
annoying.
For example:
cd 'c:\test\'.
output save outfile 'test.spv'.
In SPSS 15 this syntax works, in SPSS 16 it doesn't. I have to specify the
whole location.
Problem 2:
I sometimes copy and paste data from the data view to Excel, but when I
paste it, the values changes
For example:
When I copy this value (7.129974961043567) from the data view, it's going to
be this value (7.129.974.961.043.560) in Excel.
I know I can save the data in Excell-format, but that's only a work around.
With previous versions of SPSS I never had this problem.
