SPSS 64bit / MS Access 64bit export error

chsuser
I am trying to export records from SPSS v. 22 to an existing MS Access 2013.  Both files have identical fields.

Error message: "The selected table 'Test' contains no fields.  Select a different table."

Any else run into this problem?

Make sure that SPSS and Access are both the same bit-width. That is, if you are running the 32-bit version of SPSS, Access must also be 32-bit. If one is 64-bit and the other is 32-bit, ODBC exchange between them will not work.

A bitness mismatch would certainly prevent ODBC from working, but I don't think that this message is caused by that.  That usually produces an "architecture mismatch" message.  Unfortunately I can't tell what the issue is here, although I have a suspicion that it has to do with access permissions.
