SPSS Classification Trees Book recommmendation

paul wilson-7
Hi,

I'm looking for a book on how to use SPSS Classification Trees.
Ideally I'd like it to be a "how to" guide that explains how to run the procedures, including practice files/excericises, as well as,
explanations in terms of backgraound, statistics and interpretation of results.

Thanks a lot!

Paul, there is the Tree manual, or should be, in the install directory. If
not, you should be able to download for SPSS Web.

Re: SPSS Classification Trees Book recommmendation

Oliver, Richard
There should be a PDF version of the manual on the Manuals CD. If you don't have the Manuals CD, the Case Studies section of the Help system (Help menu, Case Studies) has several detailed examples of how to create and evaluate the results of tree analysis.
