This bug is listed in SPSS' Knowledgebase (#74983):
Problem Description: Complex Samples in SPSS 16.0.x does not seem to be
working correctly. When I select Analyze->Complex Samples and try to use
Frequencies, Descriptives, or Crosstabs the first dialog box opens
requesting the Plan and the Joint Probabilities selections. That dialog
seems to work fine, but then when I click Continue, the box vanishes and
nothing further opens, when I should be getting the next dialog, allowing me
to select the variables I want to run. All of the other commands in the
Complex Samples menu seem to work fine.
Resolution Description:
This problem has been fixed in the 16.0.2 patch available at
http://support.spss.com. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Hello,
I seem to be having problems getting the SPSS Complex samples add-on
to run correctly. Only some of the complex samples programs work. For
example, general linear model and logistic regression (under the
complex samples tab) seem to work. I enter my analysis plan and click
continue and an additional box pops up to do the analysis. However,
frequencies, descriptives, and crosstabs (also under the complex
samples tab) do NOT work. I click on these and specify my analysis
plan then click continue and nothing happens...no analysis box pops
up. How can I fix this? Am I doing something wrong? I'd appreciate any
help.
