I keep coming up with error messages and I can't figure out what i'm
doing wrong. I am using SPSS 17. The plan file is named plancards.sav and I have viewed the data plan and it is fine. The data file is named conjointthesis.sav. There are 27 possible medication scenarios. I have both the plancards and conjointthesis files open in SPSS. I have input the following using <File> <New> <Syntax> , highlighted the input commands and clicked on the forward arrow to run the file. The commands I have input on four lines in the syntax dialog box are as follows: 1>CONJOINT PLAN='plancards.sav' 2>/DATA='conjointthesis.sav' 3>/SCORE='SCORE0 TO SCORE6' 4>/PLOT=ALL. The error message reads: [DataSet3] C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents\Osteo Thesis \plancards.sav Warnings Text: plancards.sav Command: CONJOINT The file does not exist. This command not executed. CONJOINT PLAN='plancards.sav' /DATA='conjointthesis.sav' /SCORE='SCORE0 TO SCORE6' /PLOT=ALL. Conjoint Analysis [DataSet3] C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents\Osteo Thesis \plancards.sav Warnings Text: plancards.sav Command: CONJOINT The file does not exist. This command not executed. IF anyone can spot my error, I would greatly appreciate assistance. Many thanks Janet New Windows 7: Find the right PC for you. Learn more. |

Are you sure that the file exists exactly as the message specifies?

To leave the list, send the command SIGNOFF SPSSX-L For a list of commands to manage subscriptions, send the command INFO REFCARD
