SPSS20 - Windows

the simple question is, how to import data from MySQL DB.
Could not find an ODBC Driver for MySQL in our SPSS20 (ODBC Data Source Administrator).

I have always understood that the ODBC drivers are produced by the developer of the software you wish to connect to so a quick web search shows something like this:

http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/connector/odbc/ which should help you.

on IBM I find a post from Jon (without h)

I don't recall whether there is an ODBC driver in the Data Access Pack shipped with SPSS, but if not you can doubtless find one from other sources.


However, I could not find any driver.
