A question about SPSS 18.0 compatibility with Unidata RDBMS systems such as
the Datatel Colleague ERP...
Are there any users on the list that use SPSS 18.0 or lower to run queries
("Open Database"...) against a Unidata database of any kind using the
Unidata ODBC or JDBC drivers?
Then, more specifically, are any users of SPSS (version 18.0 or lower)
writing syntax that queries Datatel Colleague 18.0 on Unidata systems with
the Unidata ODBC or JDBC drivers that come with the installation disks (or
recent driver updates)?
Unidata is a former IBM product recently sold to another company. If an IBM
representative can confirm that has there are, or are not, SPSS-Unidata
known compatibility issues, that would be even better.
Note: Queries from MS Access and Excel to Datatel on Unidata work correctly.
