SPSS Question

rpgt85
Hi, I want to compare car accident deaths in two groups of people aged 18-24 and 24-30 (study included a wide age range) using a Cox hazard model using SPSS version 22. I want unadjusted results, but then want to enter covariates such as whether or not they are on medications, gender, and speed in the adjusted model. How do I input these into SPSS? I know to go to analyze --> survival analysis --> cox regression but keep getting stuck after. Thank you!

Wofgang Wolfgang Ludwig-Mayerhofer's SPSS site has some COXREG examples.  Here's his main page:

  http://wlm.userweb.mwn.de/wlmspss.htm

From there, click on
 Start >
Data Analysis (bottom of page) >
More complex analyses (on left) >
       Cox regression (on left)

UCLA's textbook examples site also has a survival analysis section with examples from two books.
