SPSS + R (64 bit)

SPSS 20

When R is integrated into SPSS 20 64bit, does R make use of the 64bit OS? Or, does it even cause problems?

Only if you install a 64bit version of R will you be able to utilize the 64 bit computer architecture. That's esp. relevant for R, as it keeps everything in core.

Cheers!!

All right, but apart from the sanitation, the medicine, education, wine, public order, irrigation, roads, a
fresh water system, and public health, what have the Romans ever done for us?

In Statistics 20, the R plugin uses 32-bit R2.12.1, however this runs fine on a 64-bit OS.
