SPSS TO EXCEL copying variable names

ig
I am trying to copy the value labels to Excel but it cuts off the value labels field at just one item. Do you know how I can import all the value labels (as well as the codes) for each and every variable?

Try control-click (on a Mac - it's probably command-click, alt-click, etc. on a PC) on the table to be copied. Select "Export..." on the pop-up menu. A dialog box will pop up. Select "Excel" from the type menu.

Are you sure you are not confusing variable names and variable labels?

This is not the abomination Twitter.  Do not Tweet!
You are not limited to 128 bytes to communicate your needs.
Take a few minutes to describe how you wish to have your Excel sheet appear .
What are you currently doing when attempting to achieve this task.
My ESPss (TM) and InterneTelepathy (TM) suggest you study the
DISPLAY DICTIONARY command.

I am trying to export the values from SPSS to a format that is reusable with Excel.

Example:
NAME   LABEL                 VALUES
y003      Autonomy Index    {-2, Obedience/Religious Faith}...

In SPSS, I have to click on “{-2, Obedience/Religious Faith}...” to see the rest of the values available for the given label.
When I copy the values from SPSS to Excel, I only have “{-2, Obedience/Religious Faith}...”
BUT the real value list also includes all of the following items:
   value Y003:
      -2 = 'Obedience/Religious Faith'
      -1 = '-1'
      0 = '0'
      1 = '1'
      2 = 'Determination, perseverance/Independence'

THANKS!!
