SPSS Version 17 Journal File Format

Gad Chen
Hi, there,

I used to copy and paste some commands from Journal File to Syntax Editor in
Version 12 and 14, but not anymore in Version 17's. For its format is total
scrambled (commands are mixed in a long line).

How to solve this problem?

Thanks

Gad

Re: SPSS Version 17 Journal File Format

Roberts, Michael
Are you opening the "statistics.jnl" file or the log?  I could open the
.jnl file without any problem, but the log file is something else!!!

SPSS Statistics 17.0

Problem Description:  I am using SPSS Statistics 17.0. I have run the
Production Job. It creates the log file but when I open the log file there
are no line breaks. In previous version SPSS 16.0 have line breaks in log

Is this a defect or as design SPSS Statistics 17.0?
