I have not used SPSS for years. So I was wondering if I could get some
suggestions for a concise, thorough book/manual that explains how to set- up, run statistical analyses and interpret SPSS output. Thanks for your help. ===================== To manage your subscription to SPSSX-L, send a message to [hidden email] (not to SPSSX-L), with no body text except the command. I like 'Discovering Statistics Through SPSS' by Andy Field but this is
more of a textbook. It is concise and a good guide for both SPSS and statistics. If you are looking for something shorter than a textbook, have used SPSS before and want to use syntax I would recommend 'An Intermediate Guide to SPSS Programming: Using Syntax for Data Management' by Sarah Boslaugh. It is short and designed for people that have used SPSS previously. Both those can be found used on amazon.com. Also search for websites like Raynald's SPSS Tools which was a life saver for me. http://pages.infinit.net/rlevesqu/ Hope this helps! -----Original Message----- From: SPSSX(r) Discussion [mailto:[hidden email]] On Behalf Of Talino Bruno Sent: Friday, October 03, 2008 4:22 AM To: [hidden email] Subject: SPSS books I have not used SPSS for years.
