SR Millis-3
A few years ago, SPSS start a certification process via written exam.  And then it seemed to go away.  What happened?

The certification still exists.  Go to http://www-304.ibm.com/jct03001c/certify/certs/47100101.shtml.

Regards.

Kyle

Surfing from there, you get to another page that has this "practice" exam:

   http://public.dhe.ibm.com/partnerworld/pub/certify/samsps-100.pdf

Two comments:

1) It seems to be all about GUI dialogs, with nothing on syntax.

2) Question 4 is a really lousy question IMO--it asks one to use the magnitude of standardized regression coefficients to assess relative importance of predictor variables in a regression model.  I hope the real exam doesn't have any questions like that!

That sample practice exam is a complete joke.
Looking at what the certification covers I conclude a complete joke!!!
