SPSS saved files for surveys from UKDS and Roper

John F Hall

I’ve just created a new page carrying information on, and links to extensive commentaries on, the SPSS saved files distributed by UKDS for British Social Attitudes 2011 and Understanding Society 2010 and by the Roper Center for General Social Survey 2008.

http://surveyresearch.weebly.com/data-sets-and-documents-used-in-tutorials-and-exercises.html

The page is still under development, but is part of my private campaign for agreed standards for the construction of SPSS files for questionnaire surveys and indirectly for rapid expansion of, or assumed permission to create and upload, small subsets of data for teaching purposes with open, unrestricted access.

Comments and suggestions welcome (even negative ones).
