For those of you that work with databases, I have a 20M record spss file with 66 variables that include numeric and string types. I have been trying to load this into a sql server database directly and with the File->Export->Export to Database with little luck. Export is very very slow and produces errors that cannot be discovered until the export breaks. I have tried saving the file as a csv and sql server does not like the cases with missing values. Does anyone have a recommendation on a converter or other method for transferring large spss or csv files into a database?
