SPSS vs. SPSS AMOS Factor analysis

Hello,

please can you help me with explanation with this situation:

A lot of articles at journals create factor analysis at SPSS and after that
create path analysis at SPSS AMOS.

But how is possible, that if they are use confirmatory factor analysis (and
create correlation between factors) there are significant correlation
between factors? Because I thought that there is no correlation between
factors based on factor analysis.

Particularly the distinction between orthogonal and oblique rotations.
