I have a survey of college students in which I created individual weights to
account for differences in Age, Gender, Race, and degree level, so that when
weighted on any one metric the sample is representative of the population
for that variable. I am wondering if there is a way to use SPSS to combine
these 4 weights in such a way that the sample will effectively be weighted
across all 4 of these variables at the same time, and more representative of
the population as a whole. I am sure that this may seem like I'm lobbing a
softball to some of you, but I'm a novice at syntax, and would like to
understand how the process works, so any help with that aspect would be
great.
