Dear All,
I need urgent assistance for calculating sampling errors using Complex Samples in SPSS for complicated measurements such as Infant Mortality (Direct Estimation). Or however how to calculate sampling errors for probabilities I do appreciate any suggestions or redirections to where I can find something to help in that Thank you all very much ===================== To manage your subscription to SPSSX-L, send a message to [hidden email] (not to SPSSX-L), with no body text except the command. you can use the split-sample method using the Jack-Knife procedure for the
same. But unfortunately SPSS does not have this built in. I bluntly remember some one once told the list that there is a script developed for SPSS and hopefully u can track that down from the net. If u r interested i can forward u the algorithm - one can translate this into a routine in any programming language or even write a script for spss. I did it in C# with the data in MS Access. Thank you all for your prompt reply,
Please Samir send me this, that's ok with me to track it in C# and Juan, what I really need is the methodology and the algorithm for calculating sampling errors for Infant mortality using direct estimation, so If you can redirect me to a place where I can find this clearly I will be grateful, or any alike thing I will be waiting for your algorithm Samir Thank you very much ===================== To manage your subscription to SPSSX-L, send a message to [hidden email] (not to SPSSX-L), with no body text except the command.
