Thank you very much whoever pulled some strings...my case has been
reopened and I even got a phone call to help resolve this issue! :-)
It appears that bookmarks placed on a line beginning with a comment (*
or asterisk) are not saved. The following appears at the end of the
syntax when it is re-opened:
COMMENT BOOKMARK;LINE_NUM=4;NAME=Begin Output;ID=1.
Bookmarks on other lines are saved with the syntax. I now know how to
place my bookmarks in order to keep them.
