Sorry to keep posting, but this is definately the last question for the day.
I'm trying to create a template that I can apply to my charts. I have the following syntax SET CTEMPLATE ='My Documents\template.sgt'. GRAPH /LINE(MULTIPLE)MEAN(Accidents) BY Week_num BY Year /TITLE= 'California'. To which i get the following error message >Warning # 862 in column 18. Text: My Documents\template.sgt >The CTEMPLATE subcommand of the SET command cannot be set to the given >filepath. The file cannot be opened. I don't think the problem here is with the file path, but rather that smth is wrong with the syntax. Any ideas? ===================== To manage your subscription to SPSSX-L, send a message to [hidden email] (not to SPSSX-L), with no body text except the command. That is the wrong path. At a minimum you need a drive letter--no longer
using XP I can't quite remember what it is for the My Documents folder. The quickest way to generate gnarly file paths like this is to the use the UI to do it and paste the syntax. You can set the chart template in Edit>Preferences. -----Original Message----- From: SPSSX(r) Discussion [mailto:[hidden email]] On Behalf Of Alina Sheyman Sent: Thursday, May 15, 2008 2:12 PM To: [hidden email] Subject: Saving template Sorry to keep posting, but this is definately the last question for the day.
