Hi all, I have a script that used to work fine until I installed SP2… I need the SP2, but I also need the script! It's a WWB script that merges pivot tables with their "comparison of column proportions/means" significance tables. I know many of you will tell me to use SPSSINC MERGE TABLES, but that doesn't work for me! Anyway, I keep getting the following errors and phenomena: In the Output Viewer, as log: Error : (10094) ActiveX Automation: Object var is 'Nothing'. (I always get this one) Error: (&h800405e9) an error occured in pivot table library (I sometimes get this one, as well) Then I get a WWB pop up window that says: sync httpsendrequest failed: getlasterror (12002) The tables are sometimes merged, in spite of the error claims, but in a different way than normal: - The capital letters that are added to the first (labels) row appear only for the first column (e.g., only "A") - All non-significant cells become aligned to the right - In a few cases some cell (those with significance notations) turn from pct formatting to scientific (i.e., 1E) I work on Windows 7 64 bit, if that matters. Mysterious are the ways SPSS thinks! Another phenomenon, which doesn't bother me, for example, is that it has a special affinity to the line "*SKIP CHECK." (notice the * in the beginning of the line, which should turn it into a comment). I have this line in several of my syntax files, since I do a lot of QC. Since installing SP2, whenever it gets to this line, the processor re-runs the previous command again. When I added an underscore ("*SKIP_CHECK.") this didn't happen anymore. Go figure! Nirit |
