Script problem

Dear all,

I need to check from script the value of a variable from the dataset.

If mySPSSvariable (numeric from SPSS object) contains any data, than ScriptVariable (defined in the script as String) = .VariableAt (mySPSSvariable)

is there any direct command or any way to do this ?
