Seeking an SPSS programmer proficient in writing syntax code
for a consulting opportunity. The programmer will use SPSS syntax to leverage
the power of automated analysis of survey data, using simple statistical
analysis to create comparative indexes for benchmarking diversity-management
initiatives. Candidates must demonstrate a strong expertise in the ability to
write syntax programs for SPSS, data analysis, and statistics. Consultant will

I did a little digging into this, and from what I understand: 1. The required graphs usually require good knowledge of GPL. 2. For some jobs, but not all, knowledge of Python and wxPython is required. Something to bear in mind if you're thinking of applying.
