Size tables output > Word

Paul Hover
Hi all,

In the SPSS-viewer I generated many tables and I've copied them in a Word-file (edit, select all pivot tables, copy objects >> paste in Word). The problem is that the tables are too large for a page in Word. They must be fit to one page in Word (one table om one page). There are too many tables to do it manually. Exporting the output to a Wordfile (.rtf) does not give a good result either.

Any help will be appreciated, thanks!

  Paul

Are the tables really big or just a touch too big? You might try going to a
more compact TableLook if they are slightly too large. Edit one of your
tables and apply various TableLooks, then test it by copying it into Word.
You can probably get away with 8pt Verdana for text and still have a
readable table. If it fits, save the TableLook and make it your default
TableLook in Options. Now rerun all your tables--otherwise you would have to
activate each table in turn to apply your TableLook.
