I would like to commicate briefly OFF-LIST with persons who are now doing
social science research in India or recently received graduate level
training in social science research at Indian colleges or universities. I
want to ask about the range and availability of statistical software at
Indian colleges and universities.
I don't know whether this is the best thing for repliers to do but please
reply OFF-list. I fear I may get quite a few replies and I don't want the
listmembers to be subjected to all the email messages. In your reply, please
indicate your level of training (masters or PhD), discipline, and the
statistical software that you used in your college/university training or in
your work if you now work at an Indian university.
I hope it's understood that this is not a scheme to spam people with
business activities.
