Suggestion to IBM SPSS have ability to check spelling in custom attributes

It appears that spelling check is not available for all variables in Variable
View.

A workaround is to use Jon's suggest to use GATHERMD to get the VARIABLE
VIEW into a new dataset.   Spelling check seems to be available for string
variables in data view.

In Variable View, you can spell check certain columns, including variable and value labels, but you can't check custom attributes.  I suggest posting it on the feeback site

Thanks for clarifying to the list. I should have phrased it " spell checking
is available for some but not all attributes".
